The Asahi Chemicals Group's sustainability policy is to contribute to the further development of society, the industry, and employees through our business activities. This fundamental approach has been based on our management creed (Basic Policy, Management Philosophy, Seven Action Guidelines, and Corporate Mission Statement) since our founding, and we have worked to reform our awareness and systems to put this into practice in response to changes in the business environment. In conducting our business activities, Asahi Chemicals bases its efforts on building good relationships with our diverse stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, local communities, local governments, and government agencies, and putting this into practice is what sustainability is all about for us.

We owe this milestone entirely to the support of our customers, suppliers, and everyone in Japan and abroad, as well as the guidance of our predecessors, executives, and employees. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you.
Founded in 1957, our company has walked alongside the development of Japan's manufacturing industry through the post-war era of rapid economic growth. The relationships of trust we have built with you during this time are our most valuable asset and source of pride.
Alongside our mission as a trading company connecting customers and suppliers, we keenly recognize the need for new initiatives to respond to increasingly rapid change. Moving forward, our aspiration is to develop in a trinity with our customers and suppliers as we aim for our 100th anniversary. We are determined to make every possible effort to achieve this. The industrial world surrounding us is said to be undergoing a once-in-a-century transformation.
